What can be included
Commercial grounds maintenance draws on our full range of services. Lawns can be mown, edged and strimmed on a regular schedule. Hedges and shrubs can be trimmed and pruned, beds weeded and leaves cleared in autumn. Hard surfaces such as entrances, forecourts, patios and pathways can be jet washed, and gutters, fascias and soffits cleaned. Fencing, gates and minor outdoor repairs can be dealt with as they come up, and green waste and debris are cleared away.
Regular schedules
Most commercial sites need consistency more than anything. A regular visit pattern, agreed at the start, keeps grounds presentable without anyone on site having to chase it. Our whole business is built around regular, long-term customers, so planned recurring work is what we are set up for.
One-off and seasonal work
Not every commercial job is ongoing. We also take on one-off clearances before a handover or opening, seasonal clean-ups, and storm clean-ups after bad weather. New build sites in particular often need a tidy before homes are occupied.
Working hours
We work Monday to Saturday, 8am to 4pm. Visits can be planned around the way a site operates, for example to keep noisy work away from the busiest periods of a hospitality venue.
Keeping sites safe and accessible
Commercial grounds carry responsibilities that home gardens do not. Walkways need to stay clear of overhanging branches and leaf litter, entrances should not become slippery with moss or algae, and signage and sight lines at car park entrances must not be hidden by hedges. Regular maintenance and jet washing help keep these areas safe and presentable for staff, residents and visitors. Autumn is especially important, as wet leaves on paths and car parks can quickly become a slip risk if left.
New build developments
New build homes and developments often need grounds looked after before, during and after occupation. That can mean keeping show homes and communal areas looking tidy, clearing debris left from construction, laying or renovating turf, and then moving on to a routine maintenance schedule once residents move in. Because we offer lawn care, turfing, clearance and regular maintenance, one team can cover the whole process.
Hospitality venues
For pubs, restaurants and hotels, outdoor seating areas, beer gardens and entrances are part of the customer experience. Clean patios, tidy borders and well kept lawns make a visible difference. We can plan work around opening hours and focus on the areas guests see most.
Industrial units and offices
Industrial units and warehouses tend to need straightforward, reliable upkeep: grass cut, verges strimmed, hedges trimmed, forecourts cleaned and litter and green waste cleared. Offices and business parks often want a smarter finish, with planted beds kept weeded and entrances kept spotless. We agree the standard for each site at the start and keep to it.
